4th Annual Directors’ Academy

Dates: October 31 & November 1, 2024

Location: The event will be live and in-person at NYU School of Law in New York City.

Description: For the past three years, PCCE has hosted an annual Directors’ Academy, intended for directors of public companies and for-profit privately-held companies, along with C-Suite legal, compliance, and risk executives. It is invitation only, off-the-record, and is designed to promote active engagement with the audience and networking among attendees. Panels and presentations are structured to focus on providing directors with actionable advice on timely issues such as legal risk, business risk, ESG, cybersecurity, AI, DEI, and crisis management. Attendees also participate in meals, receptions, and networking breaks.

Confirmed keynote speakers for this year’s Directors’ Academy include:

  • Erik Gerding, Director of Corporate Finance, SEC;
  • Daniel Houston, CEO, Principal Financial Group;
  • Travis Laster, Vice Chancellor, Delaware Chancery Court;
  • Marshall Miller, Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General, DOJ;
  • Matt Olsen, Assistant Attorney General, National Security Division, DOJ;
  • Ismail Ramsey, U.S. Attorney, Northern District of California

Attendees may qualify for up to 13 NACD director re-certification credits. PCCE also expects to offer NY CLE credits for lawyers who attend.

Who Should Register: Board Directors of public and for-profit private companies and C-Suite executives.

Cost: Registration for both days is $900 and for one day is $500. Registration fees are used to offset expenses in hosting the program. Group rates are available by contacting carolyn.pautz@nyu.edu.
